Besides the futuristic design, the car gets 230 miles per gallon, and can reach speeds up to 85mph, the best part is it runs on a battery! The battery takes 2-4 hours to charge and cost $1 to $2 bucks for an overnight charge.

The hybrid Aptera will begin production in 2009 and cost about $30,000.
